The Mission: You have 60 days from delivery to decide if the gear is right for you. If the size isn’t right or you just changed your mind, we’ll sort it out.
The Rules:
Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.
Defective/Wrong Item? If we messed up (wrong print, hole in the shirt, wrong size sent), we will send you a replacement immediately at $0 cost to you. No need to return the old one—donate it to a fellow vet.
Ordered the Wrong Size? It happens to the best of us. Since we print every item specifically for you (Made in USA), we cannot restock returns. However, we want you to look good. Contact us, and we will offer a one-time replacement at 50% OFF the retail price plus shipping.

The Promise: This is where we separate ourselves from the rest. We know you live an active life. Whether you tear your shirt fixing your truck, stain it with BBQ sauce on the 4th of July, or it just fades after years of patriotic duty—we will replace it.
How It Works:
Don’t Send It Back: We don’t want your sweaty, torn, blood-stained shirt. Keep it. Use it as a rag to polish your bike.
File a Claim: Just send us a photo of the damaged item and tell us the story of how it met its glorious end.
The “Reload” Fee: Because we are a fiercely independent business supporting American manufacturing (not a massive corporation outsourcing to China), we ask that you cover a flat Shipping & Processing Fee (typically $12 – $15 depending on the item) to get the new gear produced and shipped to your doorstep.
Fresh Gear: We’ll ship you a brand new item of the same size and design.
- Step 1: Gather Intel Take a clear photo of the damaged item (make sure we can identify the design) and find your original Order Number.
- Step 2: Contact HQ Email us at support@valortailorgear.com with the subject line: “Got Your 6 Guarantee Claim – [Order Number]”.
- Step 3: Tell Your Story Attach the photo and tell us what happened. (Did you rip it while wrestling a bear? Or just spilled beer? We don’t judge, but we love a good story).
- Step 4: Reload Our support team will verify your claim and send you a secure link to pay the small Shipping & Processing fee. Once paid, your replacement enters the production line immediately.
- What if the design I bought is discontinued? If your original shirt is retired (just like us), we will let you choose any other design of equal value from our store as a replacement.
- Does this cover lost or stolen items? No. If your shirt goes MIA (Missing in Action) or gets stolen, we can’t replace it. We need to see the physical damage in a photo to honor the guarantee.
- Can I change the size during a Warranty Claim? The “Got Your 6” Guarantee replaces your item with the exact same size and variant as the original order. If you need a different size, please refer to our Standard Return Policy.
- Is there a limit? We operate on the honor system. We reserve the right to deny claims if we detect fraudulent activity or abuse of the policy (e.g., claiming a new shirt every week). But for honest use? We’re here for you forever.
